Influential People

Influential People

Personal Level

Kyle has been a very influential person in my life ever since he was my coach when I was little. He helped me develop as a soccer player and as a person, on and off the field. He was more than a coach to me he was a friend. To this day I still see Kyle on a regular basis and he helps me with my everyday problems and is always there when I need him. He has set a great example for me on the way I should carry myself, and how I should go about doing certain things. He is a great soccer coach, friend, and dad to his to kids. Him and his wife have a healthy relationship and I could only wish that my life path went the way his did.

Famous Level

The next person that has influenced me and many other people is Chris Osgood. Chris ended his career as one of the best goalies of all time. He won 3 Stanley cups and was one of the most underrated goalies of all time.He was never given proper credit because of the teams he was a part of. Most people came out and said he only won as many games as he did because he was a Red Wing. Chris came in the 2008 playoffs as the backup for Dominik Hasek. Hasek lost control of a couple games and then Osgood came in and shut down the predators. He then went on to help the wings with the cup. So I think he saved their playoff hopes that year. He was also criticized for his size. He was always thought of being too small. He was always one of the shorter goalies in the league. However he worked hard and was always one of the best goalies each year. His hard work showed me it doesn't matter how small you are or that people don't want to give you the proper recognition. As long as you stay true to yourself you will be fine.

My Career

On a local level Dr. Allan Lamb has ben influential to many people in the medical profession. He currently works as a surgeon at Beaumont Southshore Hospital in Trenton Michigan. However he helped create the most pivotal part of the hospital today. He was one of the leading forces in creating the trauma center at that hospital. He put in a ton of work and money to help make his dream a reality. He now is always on-call and has to respond to all trauma calls. He is always at the hospital but he wouldn't have it any other way. He says that if you love your job like he does than it doesn't matter what you do or how long you work. He still make time for his family and kids as well. He has shown me that no matter how busy you get always remember to make time for the people in your life. He also taught me the importance of choosing a career in which you love doing therefore it is not a "job" but a "career". Therefore I would love and couldn't wait to get into work and I could enjoy every minute of my career.
